Hello! My name is Stella, Border Collie-plus and co-founder of Angela Hudson Designs. I left a humble situation in a shelter to hook up with Angela and turn her life into a passion for helping Border Collies like me, find a bestie like Angela. In my role as “office manager,” I supervise one dog after another (I’ve lost count) as Angela brings them in to our house from rescues like Border Collie Save, Border Collie Rescue of Texas, and All Border Collie Rescue. While I really prefer having Angela to myself to play agility, obedience, rally and barn hunt, I understand that I sparked a love of wayward Border Collies in Angela. But that’s not Angela’s only talent. She is so creative and makes stunning custom items that make Border Collies—and other breeds—look their best in whatever activities they do with their humans. She’s a whiz with a sewing machine and has a wild assortment of items to create what she calls “functional wearables”—I call them collars and leashes. But they do have a greater function, which is helping Angela pay for our “foster” Border Collies—to get them happy, healthy and trained to succeed as companion or performance dogs for other humans that will love them as much as Angela does. I’m good with that, because I want Angela for myself. But as long as there are Border Collies in need, we’ll be there. And we appreciate your support.
